Earlier this month some of my Photography Family scattered across the state and I set up a gathering designed to allow us time to stretch our creative muscles and have a ball doing it! 5 photographers, 6 models, 3 locations,12 hours, and an untold amount of clothing!
We visited a friend in Enid and took over her studio, an abandoned warehouse, and the final destination, the Great Salt Flats State Park! The models were up for just about anything! We laughed, rekindled creativity, and tried new things that we have been conceptualizing for years!
We each have such different styles and approaches, no two photographers poses or photographs alike! All the photographers had a blast! So much so that we are already planning to do this again next year! We are looking at visiting a new location. Do you happen to have any idea where we should aim our caravan next? Fresh ideas welcome!
In the meantime I am afraid this excursion has given me a case of wanderlust. I am dying to take more of my clients on destination portrait sessions all over Oklahoma to discover the beauty this state has to offer and immortalize it in a portrait!
